How to use FPS results for streaming and video
Start by matching the goal to the platform. Many livestreams are best at 60 FPS when the content has fast motion, such as games, sports, dance, or fitness. Talk shows, interviews, tutorials, and slides may look fine at 30 FPS, which saves bandwidth and encoder load. A higher frame rate is not automatically better if it forces bitrate too low or creates dropped frames.
